The land use of the Central Black Earth region is characterized by the fact that agriculture is carried out on sloping surfaces. In this regard, in order to reduce damage from the surface erosion and drift of roads by liquid and solid runoff from erosion watersheds, focal forest reclamation of slopes is carried out. Despite the significant costs of these types of work, they are quite effective. The study revealed that it is necessary to arrange the territory of the region to reduce and subsequently eliminate the degradation processes of sloping lands. These measures should be systematic, complex, and their composition and correlation should be directly dependent on the factors of degradation with an unconditional consideration of the natural - climatic and socio - economic conditions of the territory.
