Abstract

Relevance of the topic. The need to develop and effectively use the scientific, technical and technological potential of the region to increase its competitiveness, ensure sustainable economic growth and improve the quality of life of the population. Understanding the principles of functioning of the regional management of the national innovation system and the problems it faces is an important step in identifying strategies and policies aimed at increasing innovation activity and ensuring the long-term development of the state. Target. Development of directions for improving the management of the national innovation system of the Russian Federation, taking into account the experience of developed countries. Methodology. Methods of logical and comparative analysis, periodical materials, legislative and regulatory documents. Results and conclusions. The level of innovative activity of organizations in the Russian Federation and the dynamics of indicators of patent activity of organizations in the Russian Federation are presented. The submitted patent applications and received patents by organizations in the districts of the Russian Federation were considered. The results of the dynamics of indicators of the development and use of advanced technologies by organizations in the Russian Federation, the number of personnel engaged in scientific research and development in organizations and by districts of the Russian Federation are presented. Based on the analysis and assessment of the current situation in the national innovation system, trends and determinants of the unsustainable development of digital technologies have been identified, proposals for eliminating the problems of regional management of the national innovation system of digital technologies have been formulated and argued. Application area. Scope of regional management of the national innovation system of digital technologies.
