Abstract

The relevance of the topic. The federal state structure of the Russian Federation presupposes the existence of an administrative-territorial division of the state into subjects that are endowed with their own competence. In this regard, the study of the place of legislation of the subjects of the Russian Federation in the system of legislation of the Russian Federation is of particular importance for the legislative process, law enforcement and observance of human and civil rights and freedoms. Goal. The study of the relationship between federal and regional legislation, as well as the place of legislation of the subjects of the Russian Federation in the system of legislation of the Russian Federation. Methodology. In the process of writing the scientific work, the method of analysis and synthesis, the formal legal method and the method of comparison were used. Results and conclusions. Within the framework of the conducted research, the approaches to the definition of the legal category «legislation» were characterized, the place of legislation of the subjects of the Russian Federation in the system of legislation of the Russian Federation was established, the problems of correlation of these types of regulatory regulation were analyzed, as well as individual provisions of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and sources of domestic legal science were analyzed. Scope of application. The sphere of activity of the federal legislative body and legislative bodies of the subjects of the Russian Federation.
