Abstract
The relevance of the topic. Currently, improving the efficiency of municipal management is an important condition for achieving high economic indicators in the country and ensuring a decent standard of living for citizens. Efficiency assessment acts as an integral process of municipal management, with the help of which the general vector of the direction of activity of local governments is adjusted, the main trajectories of development of municipalities are determined and ways of its improvement are developed. Goal. The analysis of the system for evaluating the effectiveness of the activities of local governments of the Voronezh city district and the development of proposals for improving this system. Methodology. Methods of theoretical and logical data analysis, the method of empirical generalization, the method of analyzing the regulatory framework on the research topic, the method of a systematic approach. Results and conclusions. As part of the analysis of the system for evaluating the effectiveness of local self-government bodies of the Voronezh city district, the following problems were identified: the inconsistency of the methodology for evaluating the effectiveness of local self-government bodies with the tasks set and the stated capabilities of the assessment methodology; the absence of some performance indicators of local self-government bodies that specify the description of the current situation. When improving the system for evaluating the effectiveness of local self-government bodies of the Voronezh City district, it is recommended to: develop methodological recommendations for the development of regulations on evaluating the effectiveness of sectoral and functional municipal divisions of urban districts and municipal districts; expand the list of indicators for evaluating the effectiveness of local self-government bodies of municipalities of the Voronezh Region with some additional indicators and develop an appropriate calculation methodology for them. Scope of application. The results of the study can be applied in the process of improving the system for evaluating the effectiveness of local government in the administration of the Voronezh city district.
