ANALYSIS OF THE WORLD EXPERIENCE IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE STATE LANGUAGE POLICY

Abstract

The relevance of the topic. Features of the implementation of internal and external language policies by countries of the West, East and Russia - based on their political, socio-cultural characteristics. Goal. The purpose of the study is to analyze the features of language policy of the modern period, carried out by countries belonging to different types of political regions (West, East, Russia). Methodology. Reliance on theoretical and empirical ideas about various types of regions of the world, on statistical data reflecting language policy; turning to the modeling method, based on the current approach of cultural models. Results and conclusions. In the course of analyzing the features of the internal and external language policies of the countries of the West, East and Russia, problems and types of language policies were identified, problems of the relationship between politics and culture were considered, and a comparative analysis of the language policies of the countries of Europe, Asia and Russia was carried out. It is necessary to strengthen the scientific and cultural foundations of language policy, which is the foundation for improving international relations, enhancing contact and productivity of relations between countries. Russian language policy needs to include more practical, popular and cultural activities. Scope of application. The results of the study can be used both in the analysis of Russian language policy and in the study of foreign problems in language policy.
