APPROACHES TO THE FORMATION OF CRITERIA FOR EVALUATING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF INDUSTRIAL SYMBIOSES

Abstract

The relevance of the topic. Nowadays, industrial symbioses are attracting more and more attention as tools to increase production efficiency, reduce waste and improve environmental sustainability. However, despite the potential advantages, the assessment of their effectiveness, including in the social aspect, still remains an insufficiently studied area. In this regard, conducting research on this topic is of great importance for the creation of industrial symbioses, for the development of recommendations for their development, as well as for public confidence in modern ways of combining enterprises. Goal. To investigate approaches to the formation of criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of industrial symbioses in order to determine the most effective methods for assessing their impact on the economy, ecology and social sphere. Methodology. In the process of writing the work, the following methods of scientific research were used: analysis, generalization, comparison, systematization, graphical method and modeling. Results and conclusions. Based on the analysis of the works of domestic and foreign authors devoted to the consideration of issues of evaluating the effectiveness of industrial symbioses, it is concluded that modern scientific literature does not have clear recommendations for conducting an assessment. However, the existing methods of analyzing the economic, environmental and social condition of individual organizations, as well as foreign methods of analyzing social interaction between symbiotic actors, are adaptive to the creation of a unified concept for conducting the necessary assessment. The scope of application. The obtained research results can be used by industrial enterprises, industrial symbioses and other integrations to assess the effectiveness of activities.
