Abstract

The relevance of the topic. Today, fundamental changes are taking place in many areas in Russia. This is due not only to the changes taking place in the external environment, but also to the transformation of many systems on the functioning of which the lives of Russian citizens depend: the political system, the economy, and the social sphere are changing. The importance of the social sphere is undeniable. Various social groups, public authorities, individuals and public organizations interact within its framework. Such a complex system is aimed at solving issues related to the social status of citizens, their quality of life and the role that each individual plays in the life of society. Goal. Analysis of technologies and prospects for optimizing the management of social development of territories. Methodology. The following research tools were used: the method of generalization, historical and retrospective analysis, analysis of informative and analytical materials related to the tasks set in the study. Results and conclusions. According to the results of the review of the prospects for optimizing the management of social development of territories, a variety of application possibilities has been revealed.
