Abstract

The relevance of the topic. Currently, the digital transformation of the Russian construction industry is being implemented, which is characterized by its uneven development in the regions of the country. In this regard, conducting research in the field of assessing the peculiarities of regional development is of great importance for their consideration in the context of the digital transformation of construction in Russia. Goal. To identify the features of the regional development of the subjects of the Russian Federation, to identify the risks that hinder the introduction and development of the digital ecosystem of the construction industry, and to identify areas for their minimization. Methodology. In the process of writing a scientific article, the following methods were used: analysis, synthesis and comparison of scientific approaches, systematization, statistical research methods and graphical method. Results and conclusions. Based on the theoretical developments of other authors who assessed the features of the socio-economic development of regions in the context of digital transformation, their own methodology for identifying the features of regional development and risks that should be taken into account when implementing the digital ecosystem of the construction industry, taking into account the socio-economic, innovative, sectoral and digital development of the regions of the Russian Federation. The result of the application of the developed methodology was the clustering of Russian regions according to similar characteristics and the systematization of the identified risks by materiality and probability of occurrence. The author identifies five regional clusters, according to which directions have been developed to minimize the identified risks. The scope of application. The presented article may be useful to specialists in the field of digital transformation and digitalization of construction, civil servants, heads of construction organizations, researchers in the field of digital transformation.
