Abstract
The relevance of the topic. The need to analyze methodological approaches to assessing the effectiveness of managing the integrated development of the territory of a municipality and to find relevant ways to improve the system of performance assessment indicators in a social and environmental context. Goal. To investigate problematic aspects of assessing the effectiveness of integrated territorial development management, to analyze the effectiveness indicators of integrated territorial development projects, and to formulate proposals for improving their application. Methodology. The research is based on a systematic approach using methods of comparative and logical analysis, data systematization. Results and conclusions. In the course of the study, it was determined that the methodological approaches used in practice to assess the effectiveness of managing the integrated development of the territory of a municipality do not fully comply with the stated goals and principles of integrated development of the territory, and require development and improvement. Proposals have been formulated to strengthen the assessment of the social and environmental effectiveness of integrated territorial development projects in the long term, and a system of key indicators for assessing the effectiveness of integrated territorial development management has been proposed. The scope of application. The results of the study can be used in the process of improving the methodology for assessing the effectiveness of management of the integrated development of the territory of a municipality.
