Abstract
The relevance of the topic. The relevance of using government programs in language policy is determined by the need to maintain linguistic identity, improve the quality of education, and adapt to the challenges of globalization and technological change. The importance of language policy in Russia lies in strengthening national unity and preserving cultural diversity. Government programs are aimed at strengthening the position of the Russian language as the state language and supporting the languages of indigenous peoples, which contributes to the preservation of national unity and the cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia. Goal. Analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of government programs in the implementation of language policy. Methodology. Methods such as comparative analysis, the method of expert assessments, and a systematic approach were used. Results and conclusions. The key problems are analyzed: limited funding, difficulties in implementing programs in remote regions, and a decrease in the number of native speakers of small languages. Scope of application. The results of the analysis of state programs in language policy can serve as an important tool for improving social, cultural and educational integration, as well as for the development and implementation of more effective language policy strategies.
