The relevance of the topic. The need to fill the USRoRE database with up-to-date and reliable information forces the state to adopt regulatory legal acts that provide citizens with the opportunity to take advantage of the simplified procedure for registering real estate objects for cadastral registration. Goal. Assess the benefit/harm ratio from the implementation in practice of the provisions of the «dacha amnesty» from the point of view of the state and the citizen. Outline further ways to improve regulatory support for land relations in the Russian Federation. Methodology. Methods of scientific cognition (observation, comparison, analysis) were used. Results and conclusions. Based on the analysis, it was revealed that there were inconsistencies between the set goals and the results obtained during the implementation of the provisions of the «dacha amnesty.» The need for cadastral work in order to obtain a coordinate description of the boundaries of land plots when forming documents for land plots within the framework of the «dacha amnesty» for their subsequent cadastral registration is justified.
