Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of approaches to the assessment of the activity of natural parks, the examples characterizing the methods for assessing the effectiveness of the development of natural parks are considered. The result of this study is the justification of the need to select the necessary and sufficient assessment indicators for a particular natural park.
