Abstract

In this work the problem of destruction of a covering of highways is considered and the theoretical base under one of types of these destructions in the form of wear of a paving of porous structure (asphalt concrete) in the presence of moisture under the influence of wheels of vehicles is brought. The additional pressure arising at the same time causes the movement of moisture in a time and cracks of a covering that leads to emergence of the local tension exceeding material durability, and, therefore, to destruction of road clothes. Authors come to a conclusion that at certain modes of the movement of vehicles on a damp covering process of his destruction tends to increase under the influence of the water pressure arising in a time, and this phenomenon needs to be considered by consideration of a question of durability and durability of a paving. At dynamic influence of wheels of vehicles the arising additional pressure of water in a time and cracks besides destruction of a covering also is the reason of the directed movement of moisture deep into of solid material of road clothes that leads to reduction of the bearing properties of the basis. In general new approach in a question of destruction of porous structure of a paving in the conditions of his moistening at dynamic loading is considered by traffic flow.
