ПОЛИТИЧЕСКИЕ ПРОЦЕССЫ В РЕГИОНЕ В УСЛОВИЯХ СОЦИАЛЬНО-ЭКОНОМИЧЕСКОЙ СТАБИЛИЗАЦИИ

Abstract

The article examines the process of stabilizing the socio-political and economic development of the Voronezh region in the early 21st century. Under the leadership of the governor A. V. Gordeev, negative trends in the system of regional governance have been overcome. The role of the leader in solving the most complicated tasks of transforming the political process into a more stable system working for innovative development is underlined. The “monocentric style” of the governor's work presupposed a high level of personal involvement of the leader in all aspects of managerial work and his personal responsibility. Under the influence of the governor, the level of consolidation of the political and economic elites of the region has increased. As a result, the Voronezh region has entered the top 10 regions of Russia in terms of quality of life. The article notes that a model of innovative development based on constructive political consolidation is actively developing in the region.
