Abstract

Objective changes in the external environment of business and toughening competition determine the need to implement representative and convenient methods of assessing their competitiveness in the practice of economic activity of enterprises. They allow to determine the current potential of economic agents and their prospects in the market. Such methods should be objective and practically applicable not only for large, but also for medium and small enterprises, which naturally necessitates the development of a rational and fairly universal methodology for rapid assessment of business competitiveness. The article presents a method of rapid assessment of business competitiveness, built on the basis of a comparative analysis of the financial condition and market position of the economic entity and its main competitors.
