Analysis of the process of implementation of the forecast of socio economic development of the subjects of the Russian Federation. Methodology. Methods of statistical and logical analysis in the study. Results . Based on the analysis and assessment of the current situation in the sphere of the economy of the public sector, the problems of realizing the forecast of the socio economic development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the context of the crisis are examined and proposals are made for creating new conditions for stimulating entrepreneurial activity in the markets for goods and services and for motivating local governments to work effectively. The solution of these problems requires coordinated actions of the Government of the Khanty Mansi Autonomous Okrug Ugra and the Government of the Russian Federation, local governments of the okrug, civil society institutes, large resource corporations, other organizations and institutions working in the okrug in order to maximize the use of production and technical potential, natural and human resources.
