ПОТРЕБЛЕНИЕ ОСНОВНЫХ ПРОДОВОЛЬСТВЕННЫХ ТОВАРОВ В ОЦЕНКЕ ПРОДОВОЛЬСТВЕННОЙ БЕЗОПАСНОСТИ СТРАНЫ

Abstract

The country’s food consumption by the population of the country is an important indicator of food security, since this concept includes not only food independence, but also the availability of food for the population. The most fully available food can be estimated by the volume of consumption of goods of the main food groups. In the course of the study, an assessment was made of the change in the volume of consumption of the main food groups of goods. As a result, it was found that the volume of consumption of milk, dairy products, eggs, bread products, potatoes and sugar in 2018 is lower than the level of1 1980, while for fruits, berries, vegetables, melons, fish, fish products, meat and meat products, on the contrary, is higher .Another direction of the study was a comparison of food consumption in urban and rural households. The study made it possible to determine that in 1980 there was a serious difference in consumption volumes. The rural population significantly less than the urban population consumed meat, milk, fish, fruits, berries and significantly more bread products and potatoes. The positive change was that by the end of 2018, differences in consumption volumes were minimized.
