Abstract

Subject . The composition of target indicators of the system for monitoring the implementation of updated strategies for socio economic development of the regions of the Russian Federation. Topic . Establishing indicators that are in demand in assessing the main results expected in key areas of socio economic development of the regions. Goals . Analysis of the practice of forming a system for monitoring the implementation of regional strategies and determining the necessary changes to ensure the elimination of its limitations. Methodology. Methods of logical and comparative analysis of the practice of forming the composition of target indicators of the main results of the implementation of regional strategies. Results . Based on the analysis of target indicators of the main results expected in key areas of socio economic development of the subjects of the Russian Federation, the limitations inherent in the modern practice of forming a system for monitoring the implementation of updated regional strategies are identified, and necessary changes are identified that take into account positive examples of regions that are advanced in strategic planning.
