Abstract

Subject. Organizational and economic relations arising in the process of managing the digital transformation of the national economy. Topic. Research of analytical possibilities for assessing the level of diffusion of digital technologies in the national economy.Purpose. The purpose of this work is to study analytical tools capable of assessing the degree of readiness of the national economy for digitalization. Methodology. The research methodology is based on the implementation of a dynamic analysis of statistical data characterizing the readiness of the economy for digitalization, in comparison with foreign countries. Results. Digitalization creates fundamentally new conditions for doing business, guides companies along the path of creating new business models based on networkization and active implementation of innovative ecosystems. Technological innovations associated with the spread of the Internet of Things, blockchain, and artificial intelligence are changing the very nature of competition. States that are able to quickly respond to changes in environmental conditions, build effective mechanisms for the functioning of the digital economy will enter the global economic elite in the foreseeable future. Applicationarea. The research results can be used in the development and implementation of sectoral and regional strategies for the digitalization of the economic space. Conclusions. The national economy has significant potential in the development of digital technologies, the implementation of which is accompanied by a number of problems in terms of the need to form a full fledged innovative environment, to strengthen the involvement of the business community in the processes of generating innovations, and to introduce large scale digital technologies in all spheres of society.
