Research and development of an environmental management system, including elements of production potential, focused on solving the problems of developing innovative projects, changing the internal structure and management of an economic entity, introducing a system synergetic approach. Based on the analysis and assessment of the current situation in the sphere of the functioning of economic entities, the ways of ensuring their environmental safety are determined Conclusions. It is necessary to implement the state environmental and economic policy, adequate to the new market relations, to form a set of measures for environmental safety, taking into account the predicted area of problematic situations for an economic entity, as well as the economic interest of enterprises and organizations of all forms of ownership in the use of environmentally friendly technologies and, accordingly, in improving and restoring the environment
