Abstract

Subject. The process of transition of the regional economy to digital format. Topic. Ways to accelerate the development of the digital economy at the regional level. Goals. Research of conditions for regions to master the architecture of the digital economy. Methodology. Methods of comparative and statistical analysis of the course of digitalization of the economy. Results. Establishment of the optimal order of digitalization of the economy of the subject of the Russian Federation through the formation of an IT. The article discusses the real conditions for the accelerated transfer of the socio economic system of the Voronezh region to the widespread use of digital technologies. The order of formation and design structure of the IT cluster, which can exist and act as a multiplier of the accelerated transition of the region’s economy to new digital technologies, is given. Application. Processes of reforming the economy of the subjects of the Russian Federation as part of its conversion to digital format. Conclusions.T h e transition of the region’s socio economic system to digitalization requires a comprehensive analysis of the region’s information status. At the same time, it is necessary to diagnose the presence of basic conditions for the formation of the digital economy, as well as to take into account the impact of innovative organizational forms, integration of research, design, and production structures in the process of transforming the regional economy into a digital format. The study shows a significant dependence of the procedures for digitalization of the regional economic space on the scale and state of the information infrastructure in the region, the availability of real scientific and applied complexes and technological reserves in the field of digitalization, on organizational innovative forms that support the process of regulating the transfer of social and economic systems in the region to a digital platform.
