Analysis of normative acts and reference sources containing the term and requirements for the competencies of state civil servants. The article identifies the problem of the need for active implementation and training of state civil servants in digital competencies in the context of digital transformation. M e t h o d o l o g y. Method of comparative analysis of statistical data, assessment of the regulatory framework in the field of digital transformation and study. R e s u l t s . As part of the analysis and evaluation of the state apparatus system, the need for training public civil servants in digital competencies was identified. The following solutions are proposed: consolidation of the concept of «digital competencies» and requirements for them in the regulatory acts of the Russian Federation, formation of teaching staff for training state civil servants, implementation of measures for the development of digital competencies in the system of professional development.
