The article considers modern methods of complex analysis of the health system in the region. The authors note the importance of studying this problem. Timely and qualitative monitoring of the regional health system contributes to the implementation of measures to improve the quality of medical care for the population, It is proposed to use the methodology for assessing the effectiveness of the health system in the region. It includes resource blocks in the following areas: provision of personnel, quality of life, investments, financial and economic support, material and technical support. We are proposed to calculate the cumulative integral index. Its approbation was carried out on the materials of the Kursk region. The application of this technique allows us to identify «windows of growth» of the regional health system.
