The article defines and reveals the essence of infrastructure supporting small and medium sized enterprises, presents the characteristic of basic elements of infrastructure supporting SMEs of the Voronezh region, noted positive trends in the development of small and medium sized enterprises related to the operation of regional infrastructure. Factors negatively affecting the efficiency of the small and medium sized business support infrastructure have been identified and promising directions of its development have been identified.
