The analysis of quantitative indicators that characterize the effectiveness of the implementation of labor potential over a fairly long time period: from 2000 to 2017, the Author examines the features and factors that affect the development of the processes of formation of labor potential. The reasons that determine the trends in the implementation of labor potential in the Russian Federation are identified. The author carried out clustering of Federal districts of the Russian Federation depending on the calculated efficiency of labor potential realization.
