Abstract
Relevance of the topic. Currently, creative industries are actively developing, receiving government support and growing investor interest, due to high demand from society for goods and services in the creative spheres (culture, tourism, recreation and entertainment, gastronomy, etc.). The Russian "Atlas of New Professions" is replete with favorable forecasts regarding the expansion of the range of sought-after professional competencies of a creative nature. Since in modern society it is not so much material goods that are significant, but rather the emotions and memories of the experience experienced from interacting with these goods, the creative industries, "sharpened" on the formation of a positive mood, vivid images and meanings, the generation of positively colored emotions by consumers, found themselves at the epicenter of the current currents of the world economy. Target. Consideration of the conceptual basis of the experience economy and determination of directions for the development of creative industries in the context of this theory. Methodology. During the research, methods of systemic, comparative, logical, economic-statistical, cluster and cause-and-effect analysis were used. Results and conclusions. At the present stage of the evolution of society's interests, organizations in the creative sphere need to abandon traditional relationships between companies and clients and focus on directing impressions, consciously creating complete theatrical images and memorable memories among consumers. Accelerated digitalization, trends of glam capitalism and other factors noted in the article influence the trajectory and preferred areas of development of creative industries.
