Abstract
Relevance. The new institutional theory in modern Russia, through the influence of primaries on new trends of political participation in the modern Russian Federation, supports the relevance of the neo-institutional approach as a methodological basis for the study of new trends in political participation. Purpose. The statement, based on the analysis of the mechanism of the primaries' influence on the popularization of the theory of neo-institutionalism in modern Russia, the emergence of new trends in the development of socio-political models of the state. Methodology. Methods of dialectical, formal logical, comparative legal, statistical and cluster analysis. Results and conclusions. Based on the results of the analysis of the results of the study, the facts of the emergence of new trends in the development of socio-political models of the state as a result of the implementation of a new institutional theory were stated — at the same time, a significant role for the popularization of this theory is played by the primaries, which acts as a platform for scaling the experience of pilot regions to the territory of the entire Russian Federation. The effectiveness of the introduction of a new institutional theory into the social and political space of modern Russia (both at the applied and at the fundamental level) testifies to the intentions of the head of state to adjust the political course of 2023—2025. Application area. The results of the study can be used as an argumentative basis for decision-making at the level of the highest echelon of state power as a basis for strengthening the new institutional theory in modern Russia and in political science in general.
