Abstract
The relevance of the topic. The term «construction industry» is used to denote the part of the economy associated with complex urban planning activities, including the preparation of urban planning decisions, territorial planning, urban zoning, territory planning, survey work and architectural and construction design, organization and execution of construction and installation works using construction machines and mechanisms, as well as the preparation and conduct of events selection of performers, preparation and conclusion of contracts, financial support, construction expertise and quality control, price and technological audit, infrastructure and communication support of construction projects, in which specialists of various levels of professional training and experience participate. It is necessary to know the specifics of state regulation of the construction industry against the background of the developing construction market of the Russian Federation. In recent years, there has been a change in the economic structure and the expansion of opportunities for entities working in this sector. The working capacity of other sectors of the economy and the standard of living of the population depend on the state of the construction sector. Goal. To consider the basic principles, goals, objectives and regulatory framework of state policy to determine the prospects for the development of the construction industry. Methodology. The following research tools were used: generalization method, historical and retrospective analysis, analysis of informative and analytical materials related to the tasks set in the study. Results and conclusions. State regulation of the construction sector guarantees the improvement of the system, the unification of personal and public interests for economic development, and increased competition. Scope of application. Regulation of the construction sector at the state level is a type of management activity of the state, in which authorized bodies participate, ensuring the optimization of economic relations in construction to protect the private and public interests of the participants in the relationship.
