Understanding the principles of functioning of the regional management of the national innovation system and the problems it faces is an important step in identifying strategies and policies aimed at increasing innovation activity and ensuring the long-term development of the state. Based on the analysis and assessment of the current situation in the national innovation system, trends and determinants of the unsustainable development of digital technologies have been identified, proposals for eliminating the problems of regional management of the national innovation system of digital technologies have been formulated and argued.
