The relevance of the topic. The importance of analyzing the organizational and economic relations arising in the process of transformation of supply chains and bilateral economic ties in the context of sanctions. A study of the transformation of priorities for the strategic development of territories due to sanctions restrictions. Goal. The purpose of the work is to identify trends in regional development in the context of international sanctions. Methodology. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study was made up of general scientific methods of cognition, as well as publications by domestic and foreign scientists devoted to the problems of socio-economic development in conditions of instability of external economic conditions. Results and conclusions. Despite the unprecedented sanctions restrictions and prohibitions that Russia has been experiencing since the beginning of its war, export-import relations, of course, have not stopped, but have gradually been reformatted. These circumstances initiated the process of transformation of supply chains and bilateral economic ties. New formats of interaction have emerged, in particular, parallel imports, and there has also been a reorientation of foreign trade relations, mainly to the East. The conducted research indicates that, despite the aggressive sanctions policy manifested by unfriendly states, Russia has not lost its significant position in the foreign political and trade arena. By actively moving towards preserving its independence, self-identity, and territorial integrity, Russia is strengthening its position as one of the leading powers in the formation of a multipolar world. The most important direction of the development of Russian regions is the improvement of information and digital technologies. The reorientation to its own high-tech production will eventually replace imported analogues and create new export directions for Russia. The scope of application. The results of the study can be used in the process of developing and implementing regional development strategies.
