Abstract
The relevance of the topic. Consolidation of the Union State at the present stage of integration processes in the Eurasian space as an objective condition for its economic development. Goal. To analyze the Russian-Belarusian integration experience, which can become a universal model for use in regional organizations. Methodology. Methods such as comparative analysis, the method of expert assessments, and a systematic approach were used. Results and conclusions. The ways of solving the problem of combining the efforts of two countries — the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus — in solving common problems and removing barriers to economic development are considered. In the process of Russian-Belarusian integration, coordinated programs of economic, scientific and technical development are being systematically implemented, interparliamentary cooperation and cooperation between regions and cities are expanding. Scope of application. The results of the study can be used to study the experience of integration in the post-Soviet space.
