Abstract
The relevance of the topic. The legislative process in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation is of extreme importance in the development of the modern Russian state as a state with a federal territorial structure. Goal. A study of the Institute of the legislative process in the subjects of the Russian Federation. Methodology. As part of the research, general scientific and special methods of cognition were used: logical methods (analysis, synthesis, systematization), formal-legal and structural-functional methods. Results and conclusions. The general characteristics of the institute of regional legislative bodies are given, the order of the legislative process in the subjects of the Russian Federation is defined, the peculiarities of the organization of the legislative process in individual subjects of the Russian Federation are established, and the provisions of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the Federal Law «On General Principles of the Organization of public Power in the subjects of the Russian Federation», constitutions (charters) of the subjects of the Russian Federation, regional laws are analyzed and the regulations of the legislative bodies of the Russian Federation on the issue under study. Scope of application. The sphere of activity of legislative bodies in the subjects of the Russian Federation.
