Transformation of Socio-Economic Policy

Abstract

The relevance of the topic. Socio-economic policy is becoming a determining factor in shaping the conditions for sustainable development and prosperity of modern society and the state as a whole. Accordingly, the state and their regions, as large socio-economic systems, direct their efforts to ensure stability. It is possible to ensure stability in the era of globalization and the development of various types of technologies through the active development of the economic system and, in particular, social policy, the purpose of which is aimed at supporting the sustainable development of society. In this regard, the main tasks are: ensuring social justice, improving the standard of living of the population, reducing social inequality, stimulating economic growth, supporting entrepreneurship, creating jobs, and forming a stable financial system. Goal. The research is aimed at analyzing the main trends in the historical evolution of various kinds of transformations of socio-economic policy, its key components and role in shaping conditions for sustainable development of society. Methodology. The methods used in the preparation of the article are theoretical, empirical, analytical, observations, generalizations. The theoretical basis for the research is the work of the authors considering the problem of the claimed research: V. G. Bondarev, O. M. Vertey, I. V. Kamalinsky, V. N. Korovin, A. V. Lukin, N. D. The study summarizes the ongoing transformations of Russia's socio-economic policy over the past decades of its evolution, with an emphasis on the transition from the command and administrative system to a more liberalized economic approach. The paper discusses both positive results in the form of sustained economic growth and an increase in the standard of living of the population, as well as negative consequences, including an increase in income inequality and a decrease in the level of social protection of certain segments of the population. As a result of the analysis, it is concluded that changes in Russia's socio-economic policy have produced mixed results and require drastic transformations. Application area.
