DOMESTIC POLICY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION TO COUNTER THE TERRORIST THREAT: PRINCIPLES AND EFFECTIVENESS

Abstract

The relevance of the topic. Russian counteraction to the terrorist threat as one of the areas of policy for ensuring internal state security and stability. Goal. To analyze the key principles and effectiveness of Russian domestic policy to counter the terrorist threat. Methodology. The following methods were used: systems approach, comparative analysis, institutional approach and elements of scenario forecasting. Results and conclusions. The key features of the Russian approach to the internal fight against terrorism are characterized, and its effectiveness is analyzed. The Russian Federation is one of the leading countries in the modern world in terms of countering terrorism. The institutional and legal systems of Russia cover all vectors of countering the terrorist threat and are in the process of continuous development and adaptation to new manifestations of the evolution of terrorism. Scope of application. The results of the study can be used in studying the internal security policy of the Russian Federation.
