Abstract

The relevance of the topic. The expansion of the composition and complication of the tasks of strategic territorial planning, the updating of the methodological and instrumental base for their effective solution predetermines the need for advanced training of government personnel in this field of activity. Goal. Development of recommendations on the organization and content of the professional development process of public authorities in the field of strategic territorial planning. Methodology. Methods of logical analysis and organizational modeling used in the development of recommendations for improving the quality of personnel of public authorities in the field of strategic territorial planning. Results and conclusions. Recommendations on the organization and content of the process of professional development of personnel of public authorities are proposed. The use of these recommendations will ensure the development of professional competencies necessary for effective implementation. Scope of application. The practice of professional development of personnel of public authorities in the field of strategic territorial planning.
