Relevance of the topic. Sustainable development of regional economies is one of the priorities for the Russian Federation. In the face of global challenges such as climate change, demographic changes and technological transformation, a sustainable development strategy becomes necessary to ensure economic stability, social well-being and environmental protection. This article is devoted to strategies and aspects of sustainable development of the economies of Russian regions. Goal. Consider key aspects and prospects for sustainable development of the economies of Russian regions. Methodology. The following research tools were used: generalization method, historical-retrospective analysis, analysis of information and analytical materials related to the tasks posed in the study. To achieve sustainable regional development, it is necessary to develop and implement laws and policies that will contribute to the creation of a sustainable and integrated development system.
