Abstract
The relevance of the topic. To ensure the comprehensive innovative development of modern retail requires a high-quality infrastructure to support this process. Modern trade infrastructure is no longer a deterrent to the sustainable economic growth of this sector, it itself becomes a catalyst for its successful development. It is this circumstance that makes it necessary to search for an effective scientific approach to the creation of a modern innovative infrastructure in the field of retail trade and entrepreneurship. Goal. To investigate the most relevant and significant methodological provisions on the formation and development of innovative infrastructure in the field of retail. Methodology. In the process of research, such scientific approaches as structural, systemic, logical, and functional have been applied. The implementation of these approaches was based on the following methods: analysis, synthesis, concretization, idealization, analogy, generalization, abstraction. Results and conclusions. The study establishes the features, composition and patterns of development of the innovative structure of the retail business, develops a model of the innovative infrastructure of the retail sector, and analyzes the specifics of the formation and development of innovative structures in the retail sector.
