Abstract

Subject. The article considers the current problems of cost management in the conditions of economic instability, which telecommunications companies face. The increase in costs caused by the rapid obsolescence of technologies, the development of digitalization, lead to the need for constant updating of the infrastructure of this area and an increase in prices for the services provided. Purpose. Study of the unique challenges inherent in the telecommunications sector, such as complex infrastructure, high competition and the need to create an ecosystem for developing optimal solutions in conditions of risk. Methodology. The article uses the methodology of a systems approach, strategic management, strategic controlling, allowing to estimate and distribute costs into effective and ineffective, which is a key aspect for increasing the profitability and competitiveness of companies. Results and conclusions. Research emphasizes the importance of developing cost optimization strategies to improve the overall performance of telecommunications enterprises. Scope of application: practice of organizing the effective operation of the telecommunications industry, the communication services market.
