DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRY DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL COMPETENCES AS A DRIVER OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE REGIONAL SOCIO-ECONOMIC SYSTEM

Abstract

Relevance. The relevance of the research topic is due to rapid digitalization, which requires the formation of a new quality of human capital. The transformation of the labor market under the influence of digital technologies creates a need for constant updating of professional skills and expansion of competencies. Digital competencies not only contribute to increased labor productivity, but also provide employees with the opportunity to adapt to rapidly changing labor market conditions. Purpose. The aim of the work is to study the possibilities of developing digital competencies of human capital and their effective use at the regional level in the context of digitalization. Methodology. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study was formed by general scientific methods of cognition, as well as publications of domestic and foreign scientists devoted to the problems of developing digital competencies of human capital at the regional level in the context of digitalization. Results and conclusions. The study revealed that the level of human capital development directly affects the digital transformation of regions. It was found that territories implementing systemic activities to develop digital competencies demonstrate higher rates of economic growth and adapt better to technological changes. Application area. The results of the study may be useful for educational institutions, organizations, as well as for specialists in the field of regional management of human capital development.
