APPROACHES TO IMPLEMENTING SOCIOECONOMIC POLICY IN RUSSIAN REGIONS

Abstract

Relevance. The relevance of the topic under consideration is due to the high importance of creating effective mechanisms for implementing socio-economic policy at the level of the subjects of the Russian Federation. Given the current standard of living of the population, it is necessary to apply various approaches and methods to achieve sustainable development of territories and improve the standard of living of the population. Purpose. The objective of the work is to analyze various scientific approaches to the implementation of socio-economic policy in the regions of the Russian Federation. The economic-geographical, political-institutional, socio-economic, entropic and complex interdisciplinary approaches are considered. Their features, advantages and limitations are determined. Particular attention is paid to the need to combine these methods to form balanced strategies for the development of regions and improving the standard of living of the population, which necessitates the integration of several approaches to improve the effectiveness of regional policy. Methodology. The theoretical and methodological basis of this study was formed by general scientific methods of cognition, as well as various scientific publications of domestic and foreign researchers. Results and conclusions. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the most effective in the realities of the current time is a comprehensive interdisciplinary approach, which involves the integration of various types of analysis. The practical implementation of regional policy should be based on the systematic use of all the approaches considered, adapted to the specifics of a particular region. Application area. The results of this study may be useful for educational institutions and organizations, as well as for specialists in the field of socio-economic policy in the regions of our country.
