Abstract

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the economic consequences of the «blockage» of the South Stream project, estimates the missed investment benefit under Russian and international standards for valuation activities; capitalization of the investment profit of the «Nord Stream» is also calculated. The goal of the scientific research is to obtain objective data calculated according with Russian and international standards of valuation activities reflecting the real lost profit of frozen gas projects for a systematic analysis of the economic and political consequences of anti-Russian sanctions for the strategic security of the EU.Indicators of lost profit, calculated by the author, provided with a system analysis of the consequences of anti-Russian sanctions for EU energy security, compiled using comparative analysis, economic and political modeling methods can be used both for the implementation of future oil and gas projects between Russia and foreign countries and for other scientific research activities.
