Subject . Education and culture of the war years, dynamics and forms of development under the influence of the Union and regional authorities. Topi c . The spiritual impact of education and culture on strengthening the moral strength of the people in the fight against the enemy and the mobilization of home front workers to help the front. Goals . Analysis of regional practices in the field of education and culture of the war years from the perspective of historical truth, aimed at falsifying the events of the heroic period. Methodology. Methods of logical, retrospective and comparative analysis of forms and methods of cultural and educational work in the format «region village». Results . Based on a solid source base, analysis and evaluation of documents revealed trends and determinants of the development of education and culture at different stages of the great Patriotic war, and in this regard, the regional features of the activities of cultural institutions in the mobilization of resources for the rear to help the front. The development of education and culture is reflected in connection with the military situation in the country and shows the stages of formation and development of this sphere throughout the war years. Changes in the working methods of the KPU in connection with the beginning of the war, meeting forms of work are noted. The analysis of new forms of work on mobilization of home front workers to help the front is given. Attention is paid to Amateur performances that occurred at a critical stage of the war.Application. Cultural and educational work of the war years went through an uneven and difficult path of development from the restructuring of forms and methods of work at the beginning of the war period to the deployment and display of unique examples of cultural and educational work in the countryside.
