Subject. Ensuring environmental safety of an economic entity in the context of sustainable development of the region and maintaining a high quality environment. Topic. Development of ways to improve regulation and a set of measures in the field of ensuring the environmental safety of business entities.Purpose. Research and development of an environmental management system, including elements of production potential, focused on solving the problems of developing innovative projects, changing the internal structure and management of an economic entity, introducing a system synergetic approach. Results. Based on the analysis and assessment of the current situation in the sphere of the functioning of economic entities, the ways of ensuring their environmental safety are determined Conclusions. It is necessary to implement the state environmental and economic policy, adequate to the new market relations, to form a set of measures for environmental safety, taking into account the predicted area of problematic situations for an economic entity, as well as the economic interest of enterprises and organizations of all forms of ownership in the use of environmentally friendly technologies and, accordingly, in improving and restoring the environment

The purpose of this article is to determine the main stages of the technology of formation of the passport of diagnoses of the use of production capacity. The article deals with the structure and content of the diagnosis, the scope of the passport diagnoses of the use of production capacity, the classification of organizational reserves to improve the efficiency of the production potential of the organization.

The purpose of this article is to define the basic provisions on the formation of the concept of diagnostics of the production capacity of economic entities, including the economically important and environmentally hazardous enterprises (production). The article considers three approaches to the definition of diagnostics of the production capacity of such enterprises, namely research, teaching and information. Each of these approaches is reflected in the formation of the diagnostic concept of the production potential of economically important and ecologically danger- ous enterprises.
