IMPROVEMENT OF MECHANISMS FOR SUPPORTING PUBLIC INITIATIVES IN THE MUNICIPAL FORMATION OF THE SUBJECT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION (USING THE EXAMPLE OF THE VORONEZH CITY DISTRICT)
The relevance of the topic. The need to improve the existing mechanisms for supporting public initiatives in the Voronezh City District as a real and effective opportunity for the population to influence the activities of the authorities. Analysis of the regional practice of functioning and application of mechanisms to support public initiatives and justification of measures to improve them. Methodology. Methods of logical and comparative analysis of various forms of support for public initiatives within the Voronezh city district. Results and conclusions. Based on the analysis and assessment of the current situation in the field of support for public initiatives, using the example of the Voronezh city district, problematic areas have been identified that hinder further improvement of mechanisms for supporting public initiatives at the municipal level, proposals have been formulated and argued to reduce the level of ignorance of citizens about the existence of a form of manifestation of civil initiatives and the possibilities of their use by creating a single CBT coordination center which will carry out organizational, informational and educational tasks. Based on the trends in the development of information technology, an important proposal will be to refine the existing platform «Active Electronic Citizen», operating at the level of the Voronezh city district, in terms of ease of use, by refining the section of the site responsible for feedback from government representatives.
