Abstract

The analysis and the evaluation of activities in the field of road safety is performed. The state of the transport and the road infrastructure of the region is considered. The main types, causes and conditions of an accident are identified. The road traffic injuries of various categories of road users are analyzed. The absolute and relative accident rates in the Russian Federation and the subjects of the Central Black Earth Region are determined.Additional measures ensuring the reduction of the number of traffic accidents and the severity of their consequence are proposed.
