The relevance of the topic. In modern conditions, the sustainable development of regions is largely determined by the level of human development, the most important factor of economic growth. Goal. Determination of the impact of human development index indicators on indicators of sustainable development of regions. Methodology. Methods of comparative analysis, rating assessment, generalization and systematization were used. Results and conclusions. The considered indicators of sustainable development are indicators reflecting changes in the economy, social sphere and environment over time. One of the important factors of sustainable development — the Human Development Index (HDI) is a comprehensive indicator that takes into account income, education level, literacy and life expectancy. On the example of the Voronezh region, a comparative analysis of the indicators of the human development index, which is one of the indicators of sustainable development, was carried out. Scope of application. Development and implementation of a strategy for sustainable development of the region.

The relevance of the topic. The lack of free territories for development in the city center creates an urgent need for improvement and renovation of old industrial zones in the context of their redevelopment and the realization of opportunities for the development of the city. Goal. Analysis and evaluation of the main methods of renovation and development of industrial zones, benchmarking the experience of foreign and domestic redevelopment of industrial territories. Methodology. Application of evaluation and comparative comparison methods in research. Results and conclusions. The concept and essence of redevelopment of industrial territories are considered. The relevance of the subject under consideration and the possible benefits of the refunctionalization of industrial zones are substantiated. The economic and industrial environment of the city of Voronezh is analyzed, industrial zones in need of comprehensive reconstruction are identified. The urban planning analysis of the territory chosen for development is carried out: the infrastructural support is investigated and the comparison of functional zoning options is carried out. Recommendations aimed at improving the processes of redevelopment of industrial areas have been developed. Scope of application.
